Oil Search updates PNG Hides field drilling

SYDNEY, AustraliaOil Search Ltd reports that, as part of the PNG LNG Project, the operator, ExxonMobil PNG Ltd, is in the process of drilling nine development wells on the Hides field offshore Papua New Guinea.

Six wells (two each from well pads B, C, and D) have been completed, and drilling is ongoing on two wells at well pad G and on the produced water disposal well.

The first of the two well pad G development wells has now reached total depth. The well encountered the gas-bearing Toro reservoir and will be completed as a producer, as planned.
