Teekay commissions DOF Subsea for Krog floater connections

BERGEN, Norway -- Teekay Shipping Norway has contracted DOF Subsea to install the turret mooring and riser system for Statoil’s Gina Krog FSO in the Norwegian North Sea.

The work scope includes installation of 12 suction anchors with chain/wires, hookup of the submerged turret loading buoy, and connection of the riser system.

Engineering for the program starts later this year. DOF Subsea will perform offshore operations in 2016 using its Skandi Skolten and Normand Reach.

Estimated contract value is $25.2 million plus options.
