Maersk engages Bibby for subsea, IRM services

ABERDEEN, UKBibby Offshore has started work on a program for Maersk Oil UK in the North Sea.

The contractor will provide subsea construction and inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM) services using the DSV Bibby Sapphire, supported by an onshore-based project management team.  

Initially Bibby Offshore will complete well tie-ins, decommissioning, support for flowline connection and disconnection, and IRM activities to support of Maersk Oil’s Gryphon and GP3 FPSOs and the Janice FPU.
