Safe Scandinavia modified for support job offshore Norway

LARNACA, CyprusProsafe has a letter of intent for use of the semisubmersible accommodation vessel Safe Scandinavia at an unnamed location offshore Norway.

Under the $443-million contract the rig will be converted to serve temporarily as a tender support vessel. On site operations are expected to begin in June.

The contract includes option for four one-year extensions.
