PARISGDF SUEZ E&P UK has contracted Technip (PARIS:TEC) for subsea installations for the Juliet gas field development in the UK southern North Sea.

The location is 40 km (25 mi) offshore eastern England in water depths of 20-60 m (65-197 ft).

For the tieback to the Pickerill A platform, the scope of work includes installation of a 12-in. 22-km (14-mi) long rigid flowline; a 22-km long static controls umbilical; a 12-in. riser; a 16-in. J-tube assembly; and a 100-ton manifold.

Technip centers in Aberdeen and Oslo will handle the project jointly. Offshore installations will be performed this year using the Apache II and Normand Pioneer vessels.
