Agito releases subsea-specific SimulationX 3.6 software library for electrical systems

Offshore staff

HOUSTON – Agito has teamed with SimulationX software developer ITI to design a software library to model subsea electrical systems.

As power and signals in subsea electrical systems are transmitted within one system, Agito said, models built with this subsea electrical library can be used for both signal and power analysis. Further, the model structure can be used to evaluate system reliability using fault tree analysis (FTA) and failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) methods.

In 2010, Agito released the SimulationX subsea hydraulic library. The new electrical subsea library provides additional software for analysis and simulation of subsea control systems.
