Kosmos to drill deepwater Eagle offshore Morocco

DUBLIN, Ireland – Kosmos Energy has provided an update on its plans for the Foum Assaka permit offshore Morocco following its recent farm-out agreement with BP.

According to another Foum Assaka block partner Fastnet, Kosmos plans to drill the Eagle-1 well in 1Q 2014 in 600 m (1,968 ft) of water, targeting lower Cretaceous reservoirs and multiple reservoir objectives. Planned TD is 4,500 m (14,764 ft).
