Wintershall drilling again in Asha area offshore Norway

OSLO, Norway – Wintershall has started a new exploration drilling campaign on license PL 457 in the Norwegian North Sea.

According to partner Bridge Energy (OSE:BRIDGE/AIM:BRDG.L), the semisubmersible Borgland Dolphin will drill wells on the Amol and Asha East prospects on the Utsira High and Gudrun Terrace, respectively. 

Asha East will be drilled as a side track from the Amol well main bore, with results from Asha East expected first.

Other partners are VNG and E.ON.
