Offshore staff

MONACO – SBM Offshore has sold its “COOL hose” technology to an unnamed buyer.

The company is also considering selling SBM Installer, a diving support and construction vessel which management considers is no longer “critical” for FPSO installation work.

Petrobras has told the company it does not intend to further extend the contract for FPSO Brasil at the end of this year, after completing 11 years in service offshore Brazil.
