Jaya Privilege gets long-term GoM charter

SINGAPORE – Jaya Holdings (SP:JAYA) has signed a long-term charter for its multi-purpose maintenance and accommodation vessel Jaya Privilege, which is under construction.

Due for delivery in 2015, the vessel is expected to operate offshore Mexico for three years.

Jaya Privilege has more than 800 sq m (8,611 sq ft) of clear deck and is DP-2 class. It can accommodate 239 people and has a 50 metric ton lattice boom crane.

Jaya said it has two anchor handlers being delivered from its Singapore yard in the next 12 months, and three specialized subsea and accommodation workboats being delivered from its Batam yard.
