Black Sea partnership wins engineering support contract

LONDONOMV Petrom has awarded the AMEC Comproiect 92 joint venture a four-year framework contract to support offshore/onshore assets in the Black Sea region.  

Scope includes project management, engineering, procurement services, construction management, and commissioning for engineering modifications to existing oil and gas facilities in Romania, and extends to other individual greenfield and brownfield projects.

The JV was formed in 2011 by AMEC and Romanian offshore drilling and construction company GSP.
