BRIL to manage Centrica North Sea IRM needs

ABERDEEN, UKCentrica Energy has awarded Bibby Remote Intervention Ltd. (BRIL) a three-year inspection, repair, and maintenance contract.

The contract is BRIL’s largest to date, with a potential value of up to £40 million ($61 million) including optional extensions. Work is due to start this month.

BRIL will provide Centrica with all offshore and onshore support needs in terms of ROVs and diving support vessels. The scope includes pipeline surveys, structural inspection, intervention, maintenance, and repair activities over the North Sea, East Irish Sea, and potentially offshore Trinidad.
