OSLO, Norway – A drilling contract for the Borgland Dolphin semisubmersible rig will extend to 18 wells from the original 15 wells in a program duration that will extend an estimated 3½ years.

The contract value goes to $663 million, says Fred. Olsen Energy (OSE:FOE).

The initial contract was from a Rig Management Norway consortium and contained an option for the extension.
