STAVANGER, Norway – Noreco expects drilling to start in the next few days on the Suncor-operated Scotney exploration well.

The next well involving Noreco as a partner will be on the Statoil-operated Lupin prospect offshore Norway. The well is due to spud in March.

In the UK central North Sea, the company says final preparations are under way for first oil from the E.ON Ruhrgas-operated Huntington field development. These comprise subsea hook-up and testing, and commissioning of the floating production platform.
