Norway calls for bids for latest license round

OSLO, Norway – Norway’s Ministry of Petroleum and Energy has announced the blocks that will be available for bids under the country’s APA 2013 licensing round.

The predefined areas have been extended, with more blocks available than under APA 2012. The blocks are in the North Sea, the Norwegian Sea, and the Barents Sea.

Deadline for applications is Sept. 11, 2013. Awards should be issued during 1Q 2014.
