Lundin to drill Carlsberg prospects offshore Norway

OSLO, NorwayLundin Norway has authorization from Petroleum Safety Authority Norway for an exploratory well in the Norwegian North Sea.

The jackup Mærsk Guardian will drill well 7/4-3 in production license 495 on the Carlsberg Skagerrak and Carlsberg Chalk prospects in 82 m (269 ft) water depth.

Drilling could start at the end of February and last 65 to 130 days, depending on whether results warrant a production test.
