KCA to drill development wells offshore Thailand for PTTEP

ABERDEEN, UK – PTTEP, the national oil company of Thailand, has awarded KCA Deutag a contract for drilling and maintenance services using the self-erecting tender barge Glen Affric. The contract runs for about a year and has a 150-day extension option.

The barge is expected to drill as many as 29 wells on PTTEP’s Zawtika project, said Larry Stamp, regional manager for Southeast Asia and Australasia for KCA Deutag.
