The new facility, about 80 km (50 mi) north of Porto, will make it easier for the large reels of deepwater mooring rope to be transferred to the quayside ready for load out. The factory covers about 3,600 sq m (38,750 sq ft) with 2,400 sq m (25,833 sq ft) of storage area.
