UOP, Petronas to address challenges of gas processing aboard vessels

DES PLAINES, Illinois – Honeywell’s (NYSE:HON) UOP LLC and Malaysia’s Petroliam Nasionial Berhad (Petronas) have agreed to collaborate to address the challenges of natural gas processing on floating facilities.

The work will center on improving the reliability of CO2 absorption technology while reducing the weight and footprint of the equipment onboard a ship.
