OTC 2012: ClampOn develops non-intrusive subsea monitor

ClampOn has won an OTC Spotlight Award for its subsea corrosion-erosion monitor. The non-intrusive instrument provides real-time measurement and monitoring of wall thickness loss in pipes and other metal structures. The monitor can be retrofitted or pre-installed on the outside of a pipe to provide pipe wear rates over entire sections up to 2 m (7 ft) in length.
