Saipem teams up with UAE yard

DUBAI, UAE – Drydocks World has entered into a strategic agreement with Saipem aimed at mutual collaboration on projects from the conceptual phase, including technical development.

The scope includes engineering support, procurement, vessel conversion, offshore fabrication, repair and life extension of vessels, and newbuild FSOs and FPSOs.

A steering committee comprising members of both companies will define main parameters to achieve mutually beneficial objectives from the agreement, which will be valid for at least two years.
