Stork to inspect West Africa floater

ABERDEEN, UK – Stork Technical Services has won a $15.8-million contract to provide subsea inspection services offshore West Africa.

This is the company’s first subsea project in the region. It calls for comprehensive underwater inspection of an FPSO and loading facilities subsea infrastructure to ensure integrity of the hull and associated equipment.

To support this and other subsea contracts elsewhere, Stork has agreed a 15-month charter of the DSV Adam’s Vision, which is equipped with azimuthing thrusters, a DP-2 positioning system, an air/nitrox diving spread, and daughter craft.

Stork Technical Services Subsea will service the project.
