Regalia stays at Norway field location

Offshore staff

LARNACA, Cyprus – Talisman Energy has extended the contract for the accommodation support rig Regalia at the Yme field in the Norwegian North Sea.

According to owner Prosafe, the 198-day extension until end-August is worth $57.4 million, bringing the total contract value up to $91.4 million.

The extended stay means that the contract to provide Regalia to work this year for Talisman in the UK North Sea has been terminated.
