ROTTERDAM, the Netherlands -- Fairstar Heavy Transport says construction of its new heavy transport vessels Forte and Finesse continues on schedule and on budget.

Forte is well into the commissioning phase, and sea-trials should start in early April 2012. The vessel should be formally named and delivered to Fairstar on May 23.

Finesse is scheduled to be floated out of dry-dock in April and will be delivered in November.

The company is hopeful of winning a contract this month for the Ichthys LNG project off northwest Australia.
