Offshore staff

ABERDEEN, UK – Champion Technologies reports its first chemicals management services contract for deepwater operations offshore West Africa. The scope includes chemicals and associated support for Noble Energy’s Aseng field development off Equatorial Guinea.

Champion says it plans to build out an office space/laboratory/warehouse/blending facility in Luba’s Freeport Zone.

Champion Technologies will assist Noble Energy in producing, storing and transporting crude oil that has a high pour point, utilizing some key products from its flow assurance portfolio. The project will also involve the use of a deepwater FPSO which currently is in Singapore and will head to Equatorial Guinea for production due to commence during the first half of 2012.
