CNOOC works to restart Bohai production

HONG KONG – CNOOC Ltd. is working to resume production at the Haiyangshiyou 102 FPSO in Bohai Bay. The facility was shut down at the end of last week due to problems with the single-point mooring buoy resulting from rough seas.

No injuries or spills were reported.

The affected fields are Bozhong 28-2 S, 29-1 SN, 34-1N, and 29-4 with a total production capacity of 39,000 b/d of oil.
