Offshore staff

MANILA – The Philippine Department of Energy has approved the SC 54B joint venture’s drilling program for the offshore Gindara prospect.

Jon Pattillo, head of Exploration at Nido Petroleum, a partner in the JV, said: “With the DoE’s approval of the drilling program now secured, the next month’s activity will focus on finalizing remaining third party contracts and logistics planning.”

The semisubmersible Atwood Falcon will mobilize from Labuan, Malaysia, to the Gindara-1 location during the first half of May.
