Offshore staff

SINGAPORE -- Keppel Offshore & Marine has taken a 27.77% stake in topside module fabricator Dyna-Mac Holdings via an equity placement.

The $85-million acquisition, conducted by Keppel’s investment arm KS Investments, follows Dyna-Mac's listing on the main board of Singapore Exchange Securities Trading.

Keppel O&M subsidiary Keppel Shipyard and Dyna-Mac plan jointly to pursue contracts for floating production topside modules. Dyna-Mac provides detailed engineering, procurement, and construction services for FPSOs and FSOs, while Keppel O&M has converted and constructed more than 100 floating platforms, storage, and other production units.
