New Cardno COO

Cardno has appointed Todd K. Wager chief operating officer.

In this position, Wager will support Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Richard Wankmuller with the “day-to-day operations, marshalling resources to create value for shareholders and driving a performance-based culture,” according to a press release. “He will be responsible for working with the leadership teams across the globe to effectively and efficiently implement the company strategy and specific business plans consistent with Cardno's vision and values. He will also be responsible for streamlining business processes to drive organic growth as well as prioritizing customer, employee, and organizational requirements.”

Wager has more than 25 years of international experience, managing groups working on a range of infrastructure and environmental projects in the oil, gas and water sectors.

He joined Cardno from a “major competitor,” most recently as group president of its Transportation Group.

“I am delighted Todd will be joining the Cardno team,” Wankmuller said. “He is a strategic and operational leader with exceptional business acumen, who has led high-performing, cross-functional teams to meet goals and objectives. He will be a strong contributor and leader for Cardno.”

Wager has a B.A. from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an M.A. in international affairs from Georgetown University. He is a graduate of the International Security Program at Stanford University and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Cardno is a professional infrastructure and environmental services company with expertise in developing and improving physical and social infrastructure for communities around the world.

Cardno is exhibiting at HydroVision International next week in Minneapolis.
