The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded a maximum $45 million contract to Agile Infrastructure Services LLC for construction, rehabilitation and other work at hydropower plants, dams and other facilities in its South Atlantic Division.

The Corps' Savannah District solicited bids for this past November. Included in the work is design-build construction and construction only for projects including hydroelectric facilities, dams, locks, depots, oxygen plants, National Resources and Recreational facilities, storage facilities and canals.

The deal is a single award task order for two years, with three one-year option periods.

The Corps' Savannah District requested information in February on firms able to perform such work in the southeastern U.S. region. It also took information in October on firms able to perform planning, environmental and engineering services at hydroelectric projects, dams, and other facilities in the region.
