The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) seeks bids to supply generator rotor poles and slip rings for generator rehabilitation at Peru's 798-MW Santiago Antunez de Mayolo hydroelectric project. Bids are due May 26.
UNOPS, which is providing rehabilitation assistance under a framework agreement with project operator Empresa de Electricidad del Peru S.A. (Electroperu), took bids last year for thrust bearings, half-coils and other generator rehab equipment at Santiago Antunez de Mayolo.
The hydro plant is part of the 1,008-MW Mantaro hydroelectric complex that also includes the 180-meter-tall Tablachaca Dam, a system of other dams that regulate flows on the Mantaro River, and the 210-MW Restitucion hydro plant.
UNOPS seeks bids to supply and install rotor poles and slip rings for maintenance of generators of the first and second stages of Santiago Antunez de Mayolo.
