U.S. seeks oil filtration, circuit breakers for 402-MW Dworshak hydro project

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks bids to supply oil filtration systems and circuit breakers for the 402-MW Dworshak Dam hydroelectric project in Idaho. Bids in separate solicitations are due April 1 and 10.

The Corps' Walla Walla District took bids in February to upgrade the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system at Dworshak. It also requested information in December on firms able to perform winding replacement and cavitation repair of the Unit 3 turbine-generator at Dworshak on the North Fork Clearwater River. It took bids in 2014 for temperature transmitters.

In a solicitation set aside for small businesses, the district now seeks bids by April 1 to supply three kidney loop oil filtration systems for continuous conditioning and heating of governor oil for the three main unit hydropower generators at Dworshak.

A solicitation notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering Solicitation No. W912EF15Q0099 in the "Keyword/Solicitation #" box.
