Canada utility seeks cranes for 695-MW Keeyask hydro project

Canadian utility Manitoba Hydro seeks bids to supply a draft tube crane and an intake monorail crane for the 695-MW Keeyask hydroelectric project being built on the Lower Nelson River in Manitoba. Bids are due April 28.

Manitoba Hydro took bids in February to supply generator circuit breakers for Keeyask. It took bids in January to provide inspection of equipment manufacturing for the project. The project site was evacuated in January due to a bomb threat.

The utility now seeks bids by 4 p.m., Central time, April 28 for design, manufacture, delivery, installation and commissioning of the draft tube crane and the intake monorail crane and related equipment.
