The contract is worth US$1.2 million and includes the design, supply, removal, installation, commissioning and excitation model validation testing.

The second contract will see Reivax replace a static excitation system on one 30 MW turbine unit at Tacoma Power's 13-MW Wynoochee plant in Washington.

The work is the first component in a larger Tacoma Power fleet modernization project, which is expected to be executed over the next five years.
