The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks information on small businesses able to provide a wide range of electrical supplies to Corps dams and national resource centers in the Corps' Walla Walla District. Responses are due Oct. 15.

The Walla Walla District previously called for bids in October to provide fishway temperature improvements at 810-MW Lower Granite Dam in Washington. It also took bids in September to upgrade the juvenile fish passage facility at Lower Granite.

In sources sought notice, the district now seeks information from small businesses throughout the continental U.S. to provide electrical supplies under a blanket purchase agreement in support of the entire Walla Walla District, to include all dams and national resource centers. The Corps expects to establish several agreements to order supplies on a continuous basis from vendors who respond to the notice.

In similar solicitations, the district seeks firms able to supply of plumbing, hardware, and building materials on a blanket purchase agreement basis.

The sources sought notice for electrical supplies may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering Solicitation No. W912EF14RSS55 in the "Keyword/Solicitation #" box.

Responses are due by e-mail to the address below by 4 p.m., Pacific time, Oct. 15. For information, contact Gary Weir, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, CENWW-CT, 201 N. Third Ave., Walla Walla, WA 99362-1876; (1) 509-527-7223; E-mail: gary.weir@us.army.mil.
