Corps seeks geotechnical engineering in Northwestern Division

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invites expressions of interest to provide geotechnical engineering services for dams, levees and other facilities in the Corps' Northwestern Division. Questions may be submitted until Sept. 26, with responses due Oct. 6.

The Corps' Huntington District sought information in July on firms able to perform similar work at Corps facilities throughout the United States. The Louisville District made a similar request for information for its five-state area in January.

The Corps' Omaha District now invites expressions of interest from firms to prepare geotechnical engineering and engineering geology investigations, studies, analyses, designs, and engineering construction support services for dams, levees, military facility construction and military airfields in the Northwestern Division. It expects to issue on indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract with a three-year base period and a two-year option period totaling $4.95 million.

The Corps issued two pre-solicitation notices for the work. One, No. W9128F14R0026, would be set aside for small businesses, while the other, No. W9128F14R0027, would be unrestricted.
