Vranduk Hydropower Project

Utility Elektroprivreda of Bosnia and Herzegovina has pre-qualified seven groups to bid for construction of the 20-MW Vranduk hydroelectric project in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Elektroprivreda invited pre-qualification for the work in March.

The utility identified qualifying groups as:

  • Kolin Insaat Turizm Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S., Turkey;
  • Konzorcijum – RIKO d.o.o., Slovenia, and Euro Asfalt d.o.o., Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina;

The run-of-river project is to include a dam, fish ladder, intake, power tunnel, powerhouse containing three Kaplan turbine-generators, a 6-kilometer-long reservoir, tailrace, deepening of the riverbed downstream and access roads.
