Vietnam utilities seek bids to equip 7.5-MW Nam Nghe, 7.5-MW Dak Pring hydro projects

Two Vietnam hydropower developers seek bids to supply turbine-generators and other equipment for the 7.5-MW Nam Nghe and 7.5-MW Dak Pring hydroelectric projects in Vietnam. Bids are due July 4 and September 4.

Northern Power Corp. seeks to equip 7.5-MW Nam Nghe

With funding from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for a renewable energy development and network expansion program, Northern Power Corp. seeks bids by July 4 to equip Nam Nghe to be built on Nam Nghe River in Hua Bum commune, Nam Nhun District of Lau Chai Province.

Northern Power took bids in March under the program to supply turbine-generators and other equipment for the 7.5-MW Nam Pay hydroelectric project.

Northern Power now seeks supply, installation, testing and commissioning of hydro-mechanical equipment including turbine and generator, complete electrical equipment in the plant, 35/6 kilovolt system, communication system and 35/6 kV substation equipment.

Central Power Corp. seeks to equip 7.5-MW Dak Pring

Also as part of ADB's renewable energy development and network expansion program, Central Power Corp. seeks bids by September 4 to supply hydro-mechanical and electrical equipment for the 7.5-MW Dak Pring hydro project to be built in Cha Val commune, Nam Giang District of Quang Nam Province.

Central Power took bids in 2012 under the program to supply hydro-mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment for the 7.2-MW A Roang hydroelectric project

Central Power now seeks bids to supply hydro-mechanical and electrical equipment for Dak Pring.
