Grand Coulee Dam

The Bureau of Reclamation seeks bids to supply two outlet bulkheads for the 6,809-MW Grand Coulee Dam hydroelectric project in Washington. Bids are due June 27.

Reclamation also called for bids in June for turbine runner cavitation repair at Grand Coulee and the 428-MW Hungry Horse hydro project in Montana. The agency put a new control system on line in April at Grand Coulee. It also took bids in January to replace fire-damaged electrical equipment at the project.

In a solicitation set aside for small businesses, Reclamation now seeks bids to supply two outlet bulkheads to be 14 feet tall, 13 feet 10 inches wide and 2 feet 6 inches thick and weighing 24,000 pounds.

A solicitation notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering solicitation No. R14PS00365 in the "Keyword/Solicitation #" box.

Bids are due June 27. For information, contact Clay Wright, Contract Specialist, Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Regional Office, Acquisition Management Division, 1150 N. Curtis Road, Ste. 100, Boise, ID 83706-1234; (1) 208-378-5113; E-mail: cwright@usbr.gov.
