OILES America, Corp. (OAC) recently announced the promotion of Ken Holsenback as the first U.S. full-time director. Holsenback will also be the first U.S. executive to serve as a member of the Board of Directors for OAC.
“Mr. Holsenback has been a major contributor to the growth of OILES America,” stated Yoichiro Hayshi, president of OILES America. “We are pleased to have him as a member of our Board of Directors and believe that his front-line and leadership experience will provide us with the insights needed to advance and grow our organization in the coming years.”
The subsidiary of OILES Corporation of Japan, located their North American corporate headquarters to Concord, N.C.’s International Business Park in 1990. Holsenback joined OAC in 2010 as a Leadership Team member and Plant Manager. During this time he managed a major facility expansion doubling the manufacturing capacity of the OAC Concord facility, which has experienced a growth in sales from just under $39 million in 2010 to $65 million in 2013.
The 48,000 square-foot expansion allowed OAC to increase production capacity to correspond with increasing customer demand and allowed the organization to introduce additional product lines to their portfolio for future business growth in the North and South American market.

Prior to his career at OAC, Holsenback, with a bachelor’s of science degree in electrical engineering from Auburn University, gained over 25 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, business development, finance and human resources.
