The editors of Hydro Review and HRW-Hydro Review Worldwide magazines have extended the call for nominations for the Hydro Hall of Fame to April 25, 2014.

The Hall of Fame recognizes extraordinary hydro achievement throughout the world, with a special emphasis on longevity.

Since the award was created in 1995, 33 of the hydropower projects inducted have been in operation for a centennial or more.

Consideration for the honor is now open to plants around the world, though recipients must be represented at HydroVision International 2014 in Nashville, Tenn., where the new class of inductees will be honored during a closing luncheon July 25.

Full details about eligibility and more information about past Hall of Fame inductees can be found at HydroWorld.com's new Hydro Hall of Fame page here.
