Corps awards contract for conduit and lining replacement at Blakely Mountain hydropower project

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded a US$1.58 million contract to the Hartman-Walsh Painting Co. to replace hydropower conduit coating and lining systems at the 75-MW Blakely Mountain hydropower project.

The Corps' Vicksburg District solicited bids for the work in November.

The Blakely Mountain hydroelectric plant is located on Arkansas' Ouchita River in Garland County.
