Swiss school seeks professor for mechanical engineering institute, including hydro power

LAUSANNE, Switzerland (1/7/13) -- Switzerland's Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL) seeks an associate professor in energy within the thermal/fluid sciences including studies in hydropower.

EPFL's Institute of Mechanical Engineering seeks a faculty member with a particular emphasis on experimental research in thermal and mechanical systems for enhanced hydroelectric power, novel energy storage strategies, or hybrid energy conversion systems. As a faculty member of the School of Engineering, the successful candidate is expected to initiate an independent research program and participate in teaching.
