California hydro power utility Pacific Gas & Electric Co. seeks applications from candidates for two positions, as power generation civil project engineer and senior power generation civil project engineer.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, a professional engineering license, and demonstrated leadership, knowledge, and ability to perform duties of a journey-level project engineer.

The senior power generation civil project engineer, No. 50865794, reports to PG&E's chief dam safety engineer. The senior civil engineer has a leadership role for power generation, providing technical direction and resolution of facility safety and asset management engineering issues. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, a professional engineering license, and eight years' experience in civil engineering, design, and construction, with at least five years' experience in generation or heavy industry, including understanding of dam safety issues and regulations.
