The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks bids to supply thrust bearing heat exchanger replacement plates for 980-MW McNary Dam on the Columbia River. Bids are due Dec. 11.

The Corps' Walla Walla District also seeks bids by Dec. 20 for spare draft tube stoplogs for McNary. It took bids in November to supply vertical barrier screen mesh panels for the project. Seals Unlimited Inc. recently won a contract to supply stoplog seal assemblies.

In a solicitation set aside for small businesses, the district now seeks bids to supply 600 regular plates and four unpunched seal plates to repair four damaged heat exchanger assemblies on main Unit 2 at McNary.

A solicitation notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering solicitation No. W912EF14Q0026 in the "Keyword/Solicitation #" box.

Bids are due Dec. 11. For information, contact Julie Morris, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, 201 N. 3rd Ave., Walla Walla, WA 99362-1876; (1) 509-527-7220; E-mail: julie.m.morris@usace.army.mil.
