French town seeks micro-hydro projects on water system

The French commune of Voiron seeks bids to supply and install two micro-hydro projects on a drinking water system. Bids are due September 27.

Voiron is located in Isere Department of southeastern France, location of a number of dams and hydropower projects including Chambon Dam, the Breda hydro project, and the 12-MW Drac Inferieur project.

Communaute d’agglomeration du Pays Voironnais seeks bids to install micro-hydro projects Chloration and Malossane on the Pommiers-la-Placette drinking water system. The work is expected to require 24 months.

Tender documents may be obtained from the address below. Applicants must use Dc1 (letter of application) and Dc2 (declaration of candidacy) forms that may be obtained from the Internet site
