International engineer MWH Global invites applications for a senior resident civil/geotechnical engineer to work on a dam construction project for MWH Peru in Arequipa.

MWH seeks a senior-level resident civil/geotechnical engineer, based in Peru to oversee field engineering and quality assurance staff for the construction of a 170-meter-tall central core rockfill starter dam, spillway, seepage collection facilities, and an extensive drain system.
Qualifications include a master's degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in civil, geotechnical engineering preferred. The job also calls for 15-plus years' professional engineering experience as a senior construction engineer, with at least four years' experience in a significant role on similar embankment dam construction work. The engineer should be fluent in Spanish with good communications skills in English.
