Pakistan seeks runners, components for three projects

Pakistan's Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) seeks bids to supply turbine runners and other components for three hydroelectric projects in Pakistan. Bids are due December 27.

WAPDA seeks bids for:

  • Lot 1 - No. CE/TO/RUNNER/KG-108 - Manufacturing of runners and wicket gates for the proposed 83.4-MW Kurram Garhi project on the Kurram River;
  • Lot 2 - No. CE/TO/RUNNER/CHT-109 - Manufacturing of runners for the existing 1-MW Chitral project on the Ludko River;
  • Lot 3 - No. CE/TO/HEAD COVER/DGI-110 - Manufacturing of head cover/pivot ring for the existing 20-MW Dargai project on the Swat River.

Solicitation documents may be obtained from the address below for 1,000 rupees (US$10.36) by pay order or bank draft to R.E. Warsak, payable at Habib Bank Ltd., Warsak Branch Account No. 361. A tender notice may be obtained from Pakistan's Public Procurement Regulatory Authority Internet site, www.ppra.org.pk, or WAPDA's website, www.wapda.gov.pk.
