Poland utility seeks monitoring, operating system for 160-MW Wloclawek

Polish utility Energa Hydro Sp. z.o.o. seeks bids to supply a computer monitoring and operating system for 160.2-MW Wloclawek Dam on Poland's Vistula River. Bids are due October 30.

Polish water manager Regionalny Zarzad Gospodarki Wodnej w Warszawie took bids in September for reconstruction and repair of Wloclawek Dam, which was built between 1962 and 1970. Energa Hydro awarded a contract in 2011 to ABB Sp. z.o.o. for a replacement transformer block in the project's hydroelectric plant.

Energa Hydro now seeks bids for a computer-aided monitoring and operating system for Wloclawek. The work is valued at more than 400,000 euros (US$516,143).

Solicitation documents may be obtained from the address below. Bids, in Polish, are due by 9 a.m. October 30.
