Evans Enterprises wins bid for work at 200-MW Table Rock hydropower plant

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded a US$40,470 contract to Evans Enterprises, Inc., to refurbish a generator at Missouri's 200-MW Table Rock hydroelectric project.

The Corps' Little Rock District most recently solicited bids for the work in September for work that includes the removal, transportation, reconditioning and installation of a 480 VAC three-phase 700-kW Westinghouse generator.

The Table Rock hydropower plant has two of the units -- both of which have been in continuous service since 1959 without major refurbishment.
